Luxury in Paso Robles

Paso Robles was once known as a dusty little cow-town and maybe some of that is still true. However, the town has grown over the years to include some of the most luxurious hotels in the United States.

Here are 5 of our favorite Paso Robles Luxury Hotels:

1) Allegretto:
No expense was spared in building this beautiful European inspired resort on over 20 acres.  The resort is currently one of only a few handful of accommodations on the east side of Paso Robles.

Owner, Doug Ayers who studied in international gardens, plants, and trees created harmony between the land, resort and gardens.  The resort is filled of an eclectic assortment of art and sculptures from around the world and over centuries old.  They offer an art tour through the hotel on the weekends.

The Resorts has many amenities including, a restaurant named Cello serving Mediterranean inspired cuisine, a grand swimming pool, and spa services. They even make their own wine that you can taste while staying at the resort.

2) Hotel Cheval:  This hotel is one of a kind. It has been awarded "best small hotel in the US" according the Trip Advisor and seems to receive awards year after year.  It is small, with only 16 rooms but it packs a lot of luxury in its tiny space.  Not only being located in downtown Paso Robles, where all the action is, it has it's own wine bar and quaint patio making it the perfect spot for an appetizer and glass of wine prior to heading off to one of Paso Robles fine restaurants.

The hotel has amenities such as gourmet breakfast, a s'more butler, and even a library candy bar.

3) LaBellasera:
Located on Paso Robles west side, this hotel features Mediterranean and Italian style architecture.   The grand entrance leads to their restaurant and lounge that is very welcoming. The restaurant, Enoteca provides guests with American and Central Coast inspired food including fire-grilled steaks and wine pairings.

Not only does the hotel boast it's own restaurant, it has 6o luxury rooms some with fireplaces or patios, swimming pool, fireside cabana, wine cellar, and lounge.

4) Piccolo: The Piccolo is Paso Robles' newest luxury hotel.  Owned and operated by Martin Resorts this hotel offers 24 luxury rooms and encompasses over 17,000 square feet.  The hotel has a large courtyard with an impressive mural, plenty of lounge seating and fire pits all protected from the elements.  A few specialties of the hotel is it's roof top bar called Tetto.  Specialty drinks include:  Paso Heat, Ginger & Gold, and Pretty and Pink.  There is also a private wine lounge where you can order a glass or bottle of wine from some of Paso Robles top wineries.  This hotel is close to downtown and within walking distance to restaurants and shops.

5) Summerwood Inn:  Summerwood Inn is really something spectacular to see and visit.  It is a modernized farmhouse surrounded by wineries overlooking well-manicured gardens and vineyards. So if you are looking for something high-end with a vineyard view, look no further.  Each room comes with a bottle of Summerwood wine, a fireplace and a private balcony or patio.  Each evening they offer appetizers, wine and cheese and later dessert and coffee.  Turn down services delivers handmade caramels  There are only 4 rooms so make your reservations early.
