All around San Luis Obispo County wine lovers can feel the
excitement in the air as Harvest celebrations begin to crop up around the
county. The tradition of Harvest has always been about celebrating the end of
the growing season, but in Paso Robles Wine Country, locals and tourists wait
in anticipation to visit the wineries and tasting rooms, meet the wine makers,
and share the fruits of their labor. The Wine Wrangler offers a variety of wine
tasting tours so you can partake in all of the festivities without having to
worry about a single thing.
If you’ve never celebrated Harvest in Paso Robles Wine
Country before, then you’re in for a real treat. Choose from over 140 Harvest
weekend events hosted by local wineries over the course of the weekend. You’ll
have a chance to participate in everything from a tour of the winemaking
facilities, wine maker dinners, music, art, food, wine pairings—even grape
stomping!
We can help tailor a wine tour to your specific needs and
wants, whether you’re looking for a festive, social good time, or a more
relaxed and quiet experience sipping wine and enjoying the scenic views. Here
are a few of our tours that you can choose from:
½ Day Wine Tasting Adventure Tour: On this tour, you’ll visit 3-4
wineries with one of our personable and knowledgeable guides. Many wineries
will waive the tasting fees with the purchase of wine. This tour is available
Sunday through Friday.
Level 1 Introduction to Great Paso Robles
Wines Tour: This tour is the
perfect introduction to Paso Robles Wine Country and the perfect opportunity to
stock your wine cellar. Available daily, you’ll enjoy visiting 4 wineries over
the course of approximately 4 hours. Tasting fees are waived. Our drivers will
stop so you can enjoy lunch on your own, or if you’d like, we can provide a
picnic lunch for you for an additional fee.
Level 2 Wine Wrangler Adventure Tour: This tour is not only our most
popular, but our most social, as well. You’ll tour with other guests and enjoy
tasting at 4-6 wineries while learning a little more about our area. The tour
usually lasts about 5 hours and includes a picnic lunch.
In Paso Robles Wine Country, Harvest Weekend only comes once
a year, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to help celebrate another
successful year of winemaking in the region.
