Downtown Lighting
Ceremony: Bring the kids to this fun event where they can help Mrs.
Claus light the downtown while enjoying Christmas caroling, freshly baked
cookies and hot chocolate.
The 54th Annual Christmas Light Parade: This year’s theme is “Celebrating 126 Years in the Downtown” and it looks to be an exciting night. Santa Claus will
be making an appearance, along with the Snow Queen and King and the downtown
merchants will keep you warm with hot chocolate and coffee.
Vine Street
Victorian Showcase: Join the fun at this ever popular affair—a
community Christmas party that showcases the beautiful Victorian homes on Vine
Street. You’ll enjoy caroling and camaraderie while touring the open houses and
enjoying well-rehearsed scenes from your Christmas favorites (Scrooge,
anyone?). Refreshments include the holiday mainstays—hot chocolate, coffee and
cookies—and that old favorite, cotton candy—a welcome addition to any holiday
gathering.
